Choosing in house training topic?

Most of the companies that offer in house training they have their own catalog. You can choose courses that are relevant to you and request for course outline or second option would be that; once you have highlighted the topic, you want to work with the provider to produce the course designed specifically for your needs.

Customizing the in house training

This is one of the most important steps of conducting inhouse training for your employees. If trainer is not aware of what are the participants’ concerns and what they want to learn during the class, entire course might go in vein.

Number of participants

The ideal number of participants for in house class, if it is technical in its nature, is 12 per session. Some soft skills classes can accommodate up to 25 or even 30 participants. However for the sake of quality it is advisable for each class not to exceed number of 15 participants.

One of the advantages of inhouse course is saving time and money, because the professional trainer will come directly to the company to deliver the course. In other words the venue can be any room inside your company. This will avoid travel or accommodation costs incurred for your members of staff.

5 stages in-house training process

1. Choose the course from the course list or request your own course topic.

2. Course content development- in response to your request the experts will produce a comprehensive training outline. Based on your feedback the expert should be able to customize the training outline to meet you requirements

3. Register for the training – once the provider delivers a detailed proposal including dates and costs.

4. Training delivery – once you have registered for the course, the trainer will travel to the location of your choice and deliver the program for your staff.

5. Post workshop review – each participant’s feedback should be reviewed. The impact of the course should be assessed and future learning competencies should be identified. Implementation support from the expert should be granted for minimum of 30 days.
